It's not too late to act to support Buster's travels to visit American families. Many PBS stations are still deciding whether to air the episode.

Event Is Huge Success!

In a celebration of family diversity, over 700 kids and families packed the Riverview Theater in Minneapolis to watch Buster's Sugartime! episode
together on March 23, 2005. Minneapolis Mayor Rybak presented 'Buster' with a carrot key to the city and proclaimed the day "Welcoming Buster Day " (click to see proclamation). TPT's President and CEO Jim James Pagliarini received aMaze's 2005 Families ALL Matter award for bringing Sugartime! to Minnnesota.

Sugartime! is the Postcards from Buster episode that was criticized by some for its inclusion of families with gay parents. The episode focuses on Buster the rabbit's visit to a Vermont dairy farm and maple sugar shack. Buster joins his new friends' family for a fun dinner, where he meets the kids' two moms.
